Sales and marketing assistant

Job descriptionAs a key player in the company you will actively co-operate in expanding and supporting the European distribution network. The focus is put on profitable, long-term client relations, as well as on advising and helping out the clients with all their questions and needs. The development of the organization and the translation of the distributors’, retailers’ and consumers’ needs within the company also holds a great part of the position. You will participate in implementing the company’s communication plan, visit trade fairs and you will be in charge of organizing events on different locations throughout Europe. The constant gathering of new customer and market research information and the follow-up of fashion trends adds an extra challenge aspect for you.
Profile
You preferably have a bachelor or master degree combining this with a first relevant sales and marketing experience in an international context. You speak and write English and French and your proficiency in Dutch and German is an asset. You have excellent communication and relationship building skills. As a creative problem solver you take initiatives and know how to perform under pressure. You are able to work independently and can organize your own time schedule. You are also willing to travel 30-40% of your time and are eager to work in a start-up company with a trendy, no-nonsense and dynamic style. You are passionate about snow, and the snowboarding world in general.
Product designer
With an eye for detail, design and functionality
Job description
You will be the organization’s think tank concerning design and product development. You focus on product design including marketing material such as t-shirts, displays, etc. Your knowledge of materials and production techniques helps you to design innovative and high tech products of which you follow-up the entire production process. Concerning technical details you get the support from specialized engineers in Italy. Besides that you are constantly aware that the highest quality norms are met and guaranteed. You keep in touch with the changes in the market through magazines, trade fairs, etc. You are constantly informed on the current trends in sporting goods in general and snowboard products in particular. Both your interest and ability to learn and think creatively will result into generating concept ideas which you will develop into a commercial product.
Profile
You have a master degree in Product Development preferably combining this with a few years’ relevant experience. This has given you a good understanding of materials and production techniques. You are familiar with CAD (Rhinoceros, Solidworks …) and graphics (Illustrator, Photoshop). A good spoken and written knowledge of English and Dutch is necessary. You are an excellent communicator who focuses on building long-term relationships. You can work independently and are able to manage your own agenda in terms of deadlines and setting priorities. Problem solving and working under pressure are stimulating to you. You are willing to take up the responsibility to work for a starting company within a trendy, international environment.
